This paper explains the purpose of the evangelization initiative St. Maria Goretti4 developed in San Juan de Pasto. This initiative was founded by Father Guillermo de Castellana of the Order of Friars Minor Capuchin, who chose as patron saint of this great project, this martyred girl, recognized as a saint by the Catholic Church. St. Maria Goretti inspires all the work of the founder of the initiative in favor of female children, youth, the advancement of women and families in Nariño. Father Guillermo De Castellana focuses his efforts on education as a means of promoting the dignity of an individual and society in general.
