Abstract

Being prepared to give an account of hope requires, first and foremost, being receptive to the guidance of the Spirit, who grants wisdom, sheds light, and aids in comprehending the hope to which we are called. This hope requires constructing a horizon that appeals to reason and allows delving into the depths of the faith experience, which illuminates what is missing in times of loss, in order to be regained through the creation
of new meaning. From this perspective, navigating the spiritual realm in search of hope, involves learning to process losses and channel the pain, chaos, and suffering caused by absence and emptiness.
The article emphasizes the cultivation of the art of crossing the threshold of hope as a means to elaborate on and overcome loss. The focus is on developing a spiritual understanding to navigate the complexities of grief.
